This transmission cooling upgrade gives the M177-powered Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and GLC63 S a dedicated transmission-oil cooling circuit. Separating transmission cooling from the intercooler coolant circuit is designed to reduce shared heat load during repeated pulls, spirited driving, and other high-load use.
The included bar-and-plate cooler mounts at the front crash bar. A billet fluid-splitter assembly redirects transmission oil through the dedicated cooler instead of relying on the factory shared oil-to-coolant heat-exchanger arrangement. The result is a dedicated circuit designed to support more consistent transmission and intake temperatures when the vehicle is driven hard.
